Hi guyyssssss :) So today marks 6 years of me being a personal chef..I know if Denise were alive she would say something cheeky like "time to quit" lol.
RIP Denise.
So I did the sigma run on the weekend and my horrible time was 34:19. I really tried to run but it was just not happening as fast as I wanted it to...I was a little tired tho considering i was up from 4am cooking for my team. Maybe Kingston city run on March 9 will be better. I want to take my running to a whole new level but i think i need to start on the treadmill and really learn to control my breathing <----This is KEY.
I am starting to realize that i can't stay mad anymore even though I really really try. I think yoga is actually changing me...i wonder how it can help with my procrastination though? So much to do in so little time and i'm completely lacking focus and drive. Two receptions coming up next week and I am not looking forward to them at all ONLY because it's Friday and Saturday but i need that overtime to get a few things for the house.
On a bigger note, my Rotaract club is having a few interesting events Feb-March. Rotaract mingle is something that I believe entrepreneurs should just take even a half hour out their evening to come and meet potential customers, investors etc because believe me..you never really know who is who until you impress them.

It's a really good initiative by the professional development committee and I really hope it gets alot of support. #NKRC #ROTARACT #SERVICEABOVESELF

February...the month that everybody uses to decide if their spouse loves them. A very popular tradition, one I may add that i do not partake in. My spouse needs to know I love them every single day, that's how relationships should be.
Speaking of Relationships, why do some people feel that they can just pick up someone out of thin air and start a relationship with them? I mean where are the dates? Movies, dinner, drinks even lunch..nutn??!!! People cannot possible be that lonely to have a relationship where dating isn't involved UNLESS it's just meant to be a short term thing then by all means go ahead.
I can never understand some men, (i'm going to use men as an example because i'm a woman), they will tell you all kinds of things over the phone or social media then tell you that you are in a relationship...come on now!!! Not even teenagers are doing that anymore. And where do they get off calling people baby? Helloooooooo...I'm a grown woman please address me by my name!!! Then there are those who are all about social media and their life out of it is extremely boring...how about you do some volunteering, learn a skill...find something constructive to do with some of your time to help somebody instead of spending all day taking selfies. These just helps to distinguish the men from the boys and show why most women are now attracted to older men. It's not just the security, it's the fact that the vast majority doesn't engulf themselves in things of no purpose.
We need to take a second look at our lives, we all have a purpose and i'm pretty sure it's not just making/ having babies, partying and drinking. There are so many people out there who are less fortunate, who cannot afford to be bored or they might lose their next meal. It's for us, the able bodies of society to set an example and help others.
Having a relationship is a beautiful thing but let's be real, great relationships cannot be forced...those usually end before they even start. In the mean time, find something worthwhile to do. Life is way too short to be hung up on some man /woman when there is work out there to be done.
